Green Eagles in Choma for five day training camp

Choma based Zambia Super League side, Green Eagles have moved their base to Livingstone for a five day training camp. 

Head Coach Alex Namazaba has taken a 29-member squad for the camp in the tourist capital. 

According to a post on the club’s official Facebook page, The main objective of this training camp is for team bonding and match fitness for the players.

Livingstone is known for its high temperatures and could give players an opportunity to work on their endurance and shape themselves up for the return of the league next month. 

Apart from the training sessions, the Kawale Boys are expected to play some friendly matches with local teams such as Livingstone Pirates and Livingstone Select as they prepare for the week 18 fixture against Lumwana Radiants which will be played at Choma Independence Stadium on 7th January 2023.

Green Eagles are currently 5th on the MTN Super League table with 27 points from 17 games.
