Kennedy Musonda’s proposed move to Tanzanian NBC Premier League side Young Africans can only be finalized in the July-August transfer window.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that the Kitwe based side are not keen on letting go of their talisman in January.
The league leaders want the Lusaka Youth product to help them win the league first which is their main target this season.
“The club wants to keep him at least until the end of the season because they value him as one of their best players. It’s about them wanting to win the league now and if the deal has to happen then it’s at the end of the season,” a source said.
The Tanzanian giants have expressed interest in signing Musonda following his exploits in the MTN Super League so far this season.
Yanga have offered the 29 year old striker a lucrative deal worth around ZMK100, 000 per month net.
Musonda is currently the leading scorer in the league with 11 goals.
His goals have been key for the table-topping Kitwe giants.
Musonda has featured for Lusaka Dynamos, Zanaco, and Green Eagles in the past.
