Mighty Mufulira Wanderers have ended a nine year wait to bounce back to the Super Division after they picked a point off second from bottom Grinaker to secure promotion from the lower league.
Mighty with their tails already up smelling promotion were the first off the mark and could have sealed a win but twice failed to convert from the spot after being awarded two penalties in the game.
Grinaker however crawled back into the game and pulled one back but Mighty held on for a precious point which guarantees them promotion to the elite league.
Forest Rangers will finish top of the Division 1 North log on 64 points equal with Mighty but they have a superior goal difference.
Lusaka Dynamos and Nkwazi are the two teams promoted from Division one South.
Three teams Roan United, Indeni and Konkola Mine Police have been confirmed as relegated with one game to play.

Tu wina icungulo! Mighty!!!
It good for Mighty Wanderers. They have indeed wandered. Welcome back to the fold. Congrats to the other teams that have made it as well.
well done Mighty. now show them that football was made in Mufulira.
Football indeed was made in Mufulira but perfected in Kitwe-kekekeke
The need to strengthen their team if they are to be competitive in the ZPL. A game between Wanderers and Kalampa will be a crowd puller.
Let the games start,Nkana Vs Mufulira,Nkana Vs Power e bola people.
Congrates Mighty and welcome back to the elite league!
It won’t be long before mighty Mufulira Wanderers start showering us with national team players.
The only regret is that City Ya Moto is still wandering.
Any mix of the following:
City; Kitwe United; Mighty; Kabwe Warriors; Buffaloes; Nkana; Rangers; Roan and Ndola United was always pulling crowds.
Then entered Red Arrows; Power; and Zanaco to add to the glamour.
We should now get back to those days albeit at a higher level.
Mudala you bring nostalgic tears to my eyes when you write this. Those were days of spell-bounding soccer with no moment to chat and listen to vulgar lumpen vuvuzela cheerleaders you find at Stadia
Congrats Mighty!lets Mopani sponsor them same as its doing to Nkana!its going to be nice watching games like:Mighty Mufulira Wanderes vs Nkana!Sharp Konkola Blades vs Mighty etc.
Welcome back mighty to were you belong and may you maintain your place in the elite league.
Zambia will be humiliated at AFCON mark my words..your mediocre team is better of missing this cup to save your name and rebuild on this pathetic team that struggle to beat minor teams like of Mozambique.. ALL OF YOU MARK MY WORDS THE AFCON 2015 IS GOING TO BE WON BY A WEST AFRICAN TEAM.. p.s im from SA,
YES WE ARE BACK….Congrats Mighty!!
Congrats Mighty, though honestly I doubted you would qualify.
