Second placed Zesco United handed the advantage in the race for the league title to Zanaco after they were comprehensively beaten 2 – 0 by Nakambala Leopards.
The result throws the race for the championship open with all the three top teams; Zanaco, Zesco and Power left with a chance to win the title going into the final round of league games in what will be a photo finish.
Nakambala looked impressive with their quick build-ups from the start though Zesco enjoyed lots of possession.
Tembo put Nakambala ahead in the 22nd minute from an indirect free kick in the box which was expertly tucked in the top left corner of Jacob Banda’s goal before Simakwezi put the final nail with a well taken penalty in the 86th minute after Benard Mapili had handled in the box.
Third placed Power could still win the league if both Zanaco and Zesco lose their final day matches and they manage to pick maximum points at home against giant killers Nakambala Leopards who still need a point to assure survival.
Zanaco will be away at Red Arrows while Zesco will host Kabwe Warriors.
Elsewhere, Kabwe Warriors were held to a goalless draw against Green Buffaloes.

ZANACO playing continental football in champions league! It is as good as not having a team in this competition! It is a waste of resources by zanaco management! Mark my word, this team won’t go beyond first round! These are teams that give credence that our league is very weak!
At least they would’ve earned their place on merit.
Our super league is weak compared to other leagues like Absa,Egyptian,Ivory coast and so on.The competition is ok in the league but the standard of play is below par.We should continue trying as our late President Sata taught us its not wasting resources to try till we win the Caf champions league.
Nkana cn still do a better job in champions league than Zanaco. This team z unpredictable.

Agreed with Anita and Sakabinda Zanaco will just go there for numbers, they dont have depth like Nkana or Zescolo
Zanaco earned it on merit, so let them use the CAF platform to develop depth.
There s a chance for power. The last game is tricky for zanaco as they will be away and playing a team that need a win
Well done Zanaco though this team is very weak!on paper,Power has a strong team but cant deliver by having a wrong coach!T.Chilumba has the material but Power is too big for him!so employ a coach like Wedson Nyirenda (though he is boastfull) so than 2015 league can be yours!
For the first time ever, we (Nkana) finally broke the Arab jinx
