Israel based defender Emmanuel Mbola and Armenia based midfielder Lubambo Musonda will miss this weekends must win Senegal 2016 CAF U23 Championship qualifier against Ivory Coast.
The two have been excused due to club commitments.
Both Mbola and Lubambo were not part of the squad that forced a draw away against the Ivorians but coach Fighton Simukonda was looking at re-enforcing his squad for the crucial qualifier.
Mbola was especially earmarked to fill the left back position to replace Boyd Mkandawire who is suspended for the match.
But the technical bench will be happy that Egypt based striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba has joined the team together with South Africa based midfielder Mukuka Mulenga.
Sate Sate joined the squad which is training at the Heroes Stadium yesterday while Mukuka was part of the training today.

Though not a natural no.3, Benard Mapili can fill up the gap. Under 17 left back(Prosper Chiluya or Chilufya, not sure surname) is superb. He is the Marcelo type. To me, the boy can even play no.6. He has vision, good movements, interceptions and excellent ball distribution. Watch out for that boy, just give him time to graduate. The true test wether big fighton is a good coach or not is here. When your plan A is twarted, can u come up with a workable plan B and C. This is where Herve Renard was failing when his initial plan is disturbed. He rarely made good substitution. His greatest strength was his ability to instill self belief in the players. Renard meant business when preparing for a game, you mess up he slaps u, ask Sunzu. If u ask me, I rate Patrice above Renard interms of Tactics. The games against Brazil and Japan raised my hopes over Patrice. Herve moves with favour. I love his heart for Zambian football. I wish Fighton and company the best of workable tactics. GO ZAMBIA GOAL!!!
Personally i would make sure these two players are their. The Ivorians are going to bring all the best players. Even those who did not play in the first leg. They are regrouping.
Beleive it will be tougher. Whats wrong with us. Why can’t we have the best team. This is an opportunity this game is at home.

Does mbola grow or maybe he was born on february 29. With due respect let him b restricted 2 da senior team only, we hv so many replacements. He is the most experienced veteran under 23 I hv ever seen.
Joke across the continent.. Zambians failed grade seven and the same year passed ordinary level ….. The under 20 boys failed and later they did well at under 23 and senior level.. The under 23 defence is made out of former under 20 who conceded 7 goals at the recent African youth under 20 tournament.. I heard this in a bar from collegue who is a Nigerian . Yaba! this is sadest news, why always Lubambo not in the team, the boy is a gem going forward! If he is there the coach only keep him on the bench. May its because the boy is so focused such that ba tulyemo has no loop hole to leak from the young boy. Call Charlie Musonda now ba Simukonda wesu. Or Bring in Evans Kangwa.

Pa Zed we are scared of competition, politician only want to be worshiped, this translates to FAZ and the players who can not fight for mother Zambia! When given chance a to represent your country get with all your two hands but in case its the other way round! PF has said they taking dual citizenship for parliament to ratify but majority Lusaka based “Actuallies” are saying no to it, because of security reasons. Tell us what security reason are u referring to ? Why can’t we just say have dual citizen ship but you can’t be a member of parliament neither be a president or chief nor be in any defense and security wing simple and straight forward. If we have such leaders to run our country we will never have a dual citizenship in this country and football will never have competition. Imagine Chalies of this world, Ryans are fighting for a first place the national team will our league not improve? Because our local players will be put in their best to fight for the first place and crap by faz to impose us with yet to ripe strikers will be reduced to nothing. This is not fantasy its a fact.
