  1. Bit of a hard blow for Aces, after 3 consecutive draws now a loss and to think they are playing Sundowns on Wednesday. Sundowns just look like an unstoppable train at the moment. Good for Mbesuma personally as it edges him closer to the golden boot but bad for the club as the dream to play in the CAF games seems to be sliding away. They needed to get at least 3 points from these two games. If they lose to Sundowns, which truth be told is very likely then dream will fade even more as Chiefs have a relatively easy game against P/city.

    Well done Mbesuma.

  2. I watched the match between Aces and Pirates. My observation is that Aces seems to have a weak midfield and thats where lies in the problem. When they attack and lose possession, they fail to recover quickly and there is always a big hole in the Aces midfield and Pirates capitalised on this last night. Mbesuma also did not receive supply of balls and this made him to drop back to collect the ball and for a striker it’s not easy. Like Big Steve mentioned, Aces have a mountain to climb now that Kaiser Chiefs has overtaken them to fourth position. Chances of a top three finish are now near to impossible.

    • I agree, the midfield was completely overrun in the game. Even after three substitutions the midfield was still very weak. This is a big opportunity for Mukuka but he has also not made a mark when given game time.

Against Sundowns they should just park the bus because if they try to take on players like Billiat man for man they will be soundly whipped again.

  3. THERE IS A VERY POWERFUL DUTCH STRIKER KEEN ON PLAYING FOR BAFANA BAFANA,THE BALL IS NOW IN SHAKES AND BAFANA’S COURT…LARS VELDWIJK,WITH A RSA FATHER,SCORED 12 GOALS SO FAR IN EREDIVISE WITH PEC ZWOLLE

  4. Provided they don’t get relegated, all we need is for our striker to be in top form against Congo. The boy Luchanga should be more assured of sub than Daka.
