  2. With this line up, I believe Donashano is playing right-back. I feel this is where Janza is getting it wrong, Donashano has not played that position for a while now and there are better players in the league who can play that position with less blameworthiness. Picking the right player is about picking players who are in form with their respective positions at the club. I heard people complaining about kalaba failing to lead the off-side line, I say; its not his fault, it is the fault of the coach trying to play him in a position he is not in form with at the club…. with HR Kalaba was never caught off-side as much often as he has been under Janza.

  3. Everyday, it wld be easy! Then Sudan ll come n take a point!!

Mozambique is nothing in football and mulenga ll score an hat trick but they ll come pick up a point!

    Uganda is a third class team, they ll come and take a point!!;

Niger is no team and we easily beat them by 5 goals n Niger ll come pick up a point!!

Delusions of a GRANDEUR and is defined as considering oneself more powerful, more influential and more important than the realities and that’s how 90 % of zambia fans are!!

  4. Comments reserved but its good old players are not starting ! Now the challenge is to those players in the first XI . Though Sate Sate would have been the best option than Mayuka . All in all the the coach is okay on this one ! There very few supporters innside the stadium

  5. Gud line up bt I wud hv started fwayo tembo instead of musakanya to kill off the game in the first half. Goals shud rain in the first half.

  6. I think this line up looks interesting only chisamba can replace singulima when his form picks up other wise it looks good let’s also see how D malama can play at right back let’s wait and see

  7. 14′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Beautiful turn in the box by Mayuka but his cross is blocked
Zambia making in roads into the Niger defence

  8. 16′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Zambia looking good in attack with another good exchange of passes between Mayuka Bruce. The final cross is close to the keeper as Mayuka was lurking

  9. 29′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Zambia looking better when they play the ball on the ground but they have hardly done so in the past few minute

  10. Niger keeper looks dicey and their defenders panic when put under slight pressure but coach isnt telling them to press and put them under pressure a good coach takes note of these things during the course of the game.

  11. PATHETIC AND DISGRACED Honour Janza does not seem to learn from his mistakes. He gambled again with that USELESS small boy Charles Zulu!

  12. 39′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Some sustained pressure from Zambia as they cause some confusion in the Niger box but no shot on goal yet.
The left wing of Bruce and Mbola doing well

  13. Whats the logic of playing Singaluma when we dont play many aerial balls. Collins wud have been a better inclusion. Right now we have to many ball players and few scorers. Besides Mayuka not much punch upfront.

  14. Our football needs to take a new route. The teams seems clueless, there is no zeal or grit, no proper system, nothing, ZERO. It’s frustrating to watch. We need some inspiration from somewhere!#PATHETIC!

  15. 45+2 Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Last action of the game sees Kalaba send in a teasing cross which beats the keeper but Mayuka fails to make contact at the back post

  16. Not good enough, predictable and boring. Lack of tactical awareness. His two dices to throw I hope one is sate sate as width and pace camn be a good think. We need to be more argent

  17. Why Cant he shoot from There!, I have to agree with you. I have been asking myself that question for some time now. What is the logic of playing Singuluma. We don’t’ have Mbesuma. The coach should introduce Jacob in the second half. I know he won’t be able to do that because he is clueless and inept!

    • Right on Kay. He will prob take off Mayuka for Jacob and leave Singaluma on who isnt a bad player but you need route one type of football to get the best of him. The ball at feet slow build up game exposes him.

  18. Yaba, bring back Christopher Katongo, Felix Katongo, Isaac Chansa and Joseph Musonda. This looks terrible.

But you know if the players dont ever learn to win for themselves they never will just know it takes years.

  19. We dont have any players making the late follow up run (Frank Lampard) into the penalty area after a play.

  20. Singuluma is useless and so is that boy Charles Zulu. Mayuka is trying, as he is not getting supply up front. The goal will only come if we use the flanks effectively. Those calling for Mbesuma are myopic. Mbesuma is finished. Maybe Jacob can do something to partner Mayuka. The Nigeriens are tall and we therefore need a tall guy upfront like Jacob to replace the passenger Singuluma.

    • Collins has power to turn defenders and can read the game well. The Niger defenders are clumsy and more often than not badly positioned. The game and build up are slow enough to accommodate Collins. How many shots on goal have we had? Exactly! No distance shots on target and no close shots to trouble the keeper.

  21. Niger has packed the midfield and our best bet to win this game is to utilize the wings, we need fast paced wingers who could whip those crosses in for the Singulumas. Speaking of Singuluma he has been awfully quiet in the first half. Mayuka is making some good moves hope he stays disciplined whilst hustling for that ball, he is our best hope from where we could get a goal.

  22. 50′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Niger counter attack from a Zambia free kick but it amounts to nothing as the ball rolls out for a goalkick

  23. 52′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger

  24. 55′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Zambia pressing as Kalaba’s shot in the box is blocked while Bruce’s shot is deflected for the keeper to pick easily

  25. 57′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Mayuka delays to react in the box as the ball is stolen from under his nose when he could have shot

  26. We are panicking too much. There needs to be patience and thought in the final third. Sounds like people are shooting anyhow.

  27. Rainford Kalaba heads home at the back post from a long speculative cross coming from the right after the keeper fluffed his lines

  28. 62′ Zambia 0 – 0 Niger
Donashano’s back heel is straight into the path of the Niger attacker but they hurry the shot from outside the box and it is over the bar

  29. For a long time now,all of us just sit on our keyboards and type.Is what we are typing reaching the ears of our football manager?I don’t think so.Let’s stop being arm chair critics and stand up.even if we win today our football has gone very low and we are going nowhere.

  30. Guys in attck are goin to sleep, they need a Renard to push them. Our defense isnt strong enough to be exposed that way, we need to challenge them in their own half. And now that Niger are coming fwd are we punishing them? No!

  31. So we have scored one goal and gone into a defensive shell, efinshi ifi? Please correct me if I ma wrong coz I am unable to stream the game.

  32. 73′ Zambia 2 – 0 Niger
Given Singuluma broke loose on the left and square a ball for Mayuka blasted from close range a ball which hang invitingly for him after it was deflected

  33. Told you these guys are clumsy! All it needs is intelligent play! Well done Mayuka and Givens, missed Rainford’s goal but he has been threatening with his header for the past games! we need to look for a penalty!

  34. With a bit of pressure these guys panic but coach didn’t see that! I sawobserved this just after watching 1 minute of play!

  35. At least I can use my black label.I have something to celebrate.@scotch I have sent more than 1 SMS to that number of yours but still up to now am not added to your whtsapp.why?my number is +27736734943

  36. Niger is useless and they are one of the unimproved side in Africa and there is nothing special about beating them!!

Cape Verde is the main threat here and they can be unpredictable!

  37. Cape Verde will come here for a formality coz they will have 12 points by then while Zambia may be at 8 points! However, if they draw or lose today then the games will be bad!

  38. Am sure Kalu is frantically callin Renard with a job proposition only this time Kalu has increased his stake of the salary from 10% to 30%! CIV 1 – DRC 3! Kiddiaba the kid in gloves has seen his best days!

  39. Good Job Zambia. This is our team of youngsters full of running. Please don’t bring back the veterans in the starting line up. They have done their part and we appreciate. We just need to be sure who should start in the midfield. Call Kangwa and Lubambo too. This is the team to build.

  40. zambians it early days yet stop the blaabings and concentrate on your other maches getting a win against niger and u guys hav started blabing your mouth .that the problem yroung with u guys

  41. I watched the First Half and at halftime went for a church meeting. Just finished watching 2nd half as I had the match recorded.

We not celebrating. Great and motivating win for the boys after a bad start. I hope the coach will continue growing boys like B. Musakanya and C. Zulu.
We need to plan for the Maputo job. Last time we played there we won in 2011 in AFCON qualifier.

  42. Good win but nothing much to write about Janza,s tactics,we still need an experienced coach not this janza thing.we have 2 tricky fixtures next month but with janza at the driving seat its wait and see situation otherwise congrats chipolopolo boys!
