Power Dynamos on loan midfielder Larry Bwalya has returned from Israel where he went to attend trials.
The K-Stars midfielder is back in Kitwe with Power Dyncamos.
Bwalya, a member of the 2015 Zambia Under-20 trained with Hapoel Ra’naana.
The player who spent a season at Nchanga Rangers on loan in 2014 will now concentrate on having a good season with Power Dynamos.
Though he could not secure a move, it was a relatively good transfer window for Zambian players as striker Linekar Mwikisa and Moses Phiri signed with Portuguese second tier sides.
Zanaco’s Charles Zulu also attended trials in France.
We are now used @ seing our players failing trials…
Sundowns are playing and Mweene no longer makes the bench anymore. He watches the games from the stands..

and it’s sad these our players need to attend trials before signings…unfortunately, they fail to tick…i only wonder if it’s the mental aspect we are lacking
It is not just Zambians who fail these trials. Believe me for every 1 player who makes it in Europe from any country 20 trialists from his country have failed their trials somewhere. There are a lot of characters I have met in Europe who either went there legally or otherwise and have failed to clinch a deal. They are either languishing on the street playing kick about football in play parks, or have simply gone into other ventures.
Before John Lomano (from Rwanda) joined Power we played social football together at Ravens. We advised him to check either Nkwiza FC or any of the big teams in Kitwe other than wasting time playing with potbellied old-timers who have been there and seen that. We next saw him at Power. It was the same with Gusto -From Congo DR -(who later became Justine Sakala at Nkwiza FC). He started with CBU Madala’s, the ‘Locomoties’ club and later joined Nkwiza before he migrated to Europe, as a Zambian.
So it is not easy for anyone from anywhere. The only thing is in Zambia even a small move is publicized in the Press. Elsewhere they don’t publicise the majority of these moves. Anyway how would you report in the Daily Tabloids if these players migrate at night to Europe illegally on an Illegal boat to Italy? of it they migrate as stowaways on ships from the coast of a certain region?
well, thanks for the info…i guess the press should not get too exited too…but my displeasure at failing trials will stand
