Zesco United and Chipolopolo midfielder will be heading back to Morth East United when the second edition Indian Super League resumes.
Zambianfootball.co.zm can reveal that Mtonga who completed a season long loan last year in the Hero League has been offered another contract at the same club.
After having signed on the dotted line, Kondwani was quoted as saying, “I am glad to stay with North East United FC for another season. I definitely have improved as a player over the past 5 months. I hope to build on from last season, and contribute towards the club picking up some silverware in the coming season. I will do my best to contribute in the team’s success in any way I can and repay the faith shown in me by the team management.”
Mtonga put up some strong performances for his team which saw him earn a rating as the second best passer in the league having played 14 games with a return of two goals.
The Indian league resumes on 3rd October and end in December, 2015

The Indian league cant be better than the South African League. Just look at the profiles of the star players in that league. Most of them are retired players over the age of 37 years who used to play in Europe. The fitness levels are so poor such that an average player like Kondwani was looking like a star.
I very much agree with you Papa,see how we called for Janza to consider him when the team was strugguling in the middle of the park because he,Mtonga,was performing so we thought since he was playing with granpas hence the outstanding acts.Since his return he has been so useless.

Just because Mtonga has “improved” in a useless Indian league and Mwape struggling in the PSL doesn’t add up and doesn’t make sense and doesnt mean anything.
