Log leaders Zanaco were this afternoon held to a three all draw by 10 man Green Eagles in an exciting game played in Choma thanks to a Mulawo Adamson brace.
Eagles started well and were leading within the first five minutes of the game through Mulawo but Zanaco leveled from the spot in the 14th minute through Moses Phiri.
Eagles were then reduced to 10 men when Ndashe was sent off after a professional foul but the referee reciprocated his action when he later sent off Shula Njavwa of Zanaco.
Rodrick Kabwe then added a second in the 24th minute before Aubrey Funga made it 3 – 1 in the 76th minute.
Eagles then started their come back with five minutes to play when Mulawo completed his brace with five minutes to play.
Zanaco the conceded a penalty in the 89th minute which was converted by Mwila Phiri.
Nkwazi ensured that they ended the first half of the season in an impressive fourth position after they beat Napsa Satrs 1 – 0 at home.
There was also an impressive 4 – 0 home win by Zesco over Lusaka Dynamos.
Mighty Mufulira Wanderers will be happy to have picked a point away against Red Arrows in a game which Arrows had the edge. Young Chipolopolo midfielder Paul Katema and striker Festus Mbewe impressed in the game despite not finding the net.
Nkana slumped to a 1 – 0 loss away at Nchanga Rangers and they free fall continued, seemingly now saved by the mid-season break and transfer window. They have not won in 4 games losing three times.

Rumour has it that George leekens is the next zambia coach
Has he stepped down as coach for Tunisia national team?
We relly need a coach, sooner than later.Otherwise,we are as good as dead 4the qualifiers with the experiments we doing on the great chipolopolo with the LWANDAMINA’s & co.
The Zambian coaches seem to be failing due to too much respect for Kalu. He influences most of their decisions and they need be honest to him by telling him that they are in-charge.
Its an open secret that Kalu is a failed coach but why allow him to select plsyers for you when he holds another portifolio as presido the FA.
Kalu’s problem; He wants to control everything even when he knows he has failed. He seeks for his own way and mostly he thinks he knows it all.
He employs them(coach) and controls them. There is an element of cowardice in them. Otherwise they are good coaches and the only who is if they are going to succeed they must draw a line between their employers and their job. You cannot claim to be a proffessional coach when you are easily influenced. You must know who you are and select your team on merit.
Never allow interference from your superiors you are the coach just stand your ground and if it means firing you let them do so but meanwhile you hold on to your principles. Do not be afraid to get fired. Be a risk taker.
My conclusion is that we have good coaches locally but lack of principles & boldness to take on their employers head on as far as player selection is concerned is killing them.
I wish that the minister can say something on this because he promised that money has been found. DB was hired by the then president and not FAZ

Tunisia and Belgian coach George Leekens part ways
Tunisia and Belgian coach George Leekens have parted ways, the national football federation (FTF) has confirmed.
The move comes just two weeks after hosts Tunisia crushed Djibouti 8-1 in the first match of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
Leekens guided Tunisia to the 2015 Cup of Nations quarter-finals.
They then suffered a controversial defeat by hosts Equatorial Guinea in the last eight.
A hotly disputed stoppage time penalty helped the home side to equalise and they triumphed 2-1 after extra time.
The FTF announced the decision to part company with Leekens on their website.
“We have decided (on) an amicable separation between the two parties without any payment on the part of FTF or George Leekens.”
It is not known if Leekens, whose contract with Tunisia ran to March 2016, has lined up alternate employment.
Reigning African champions Ivory Coast are seeking a coach after Frenchman Herve Renard resigned to join Ligue 1 club Lille.
Leekens has also worked in Turkey, Algeria, Netherlands and Saudi Arabia.
Officials said the Belgian would be replaced by another foreign coach.
The next Cup of Nations qualifier for the ‘Carthage Eagles’ is away to Liberia during September.
He is welcome to Zambia from tunisia
