Midfielder Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba has scooped the ZESCO United player of the month awards for October.
This is the second award in a row for the midfielder fondly referred to as ‘Kemuka’ who also clinched the accolade in September.
Mubanga beat off competition from defenders Dennis Nya and Shemmy Mayembe to claim the award.
ZESCO United took to social media to confirm the development. The fans are the ones who voted for the winner of the accolade.

Mubanga scored the goal that saw Zega Mambo earn a point against Kansanshi Dynamos away in Chingola.
The Award is expected to be accompanied by a K5,000 cheque from the sponsors, Atlas Mara.
Mubanga was part of Coach Avram Grant’s squad for the back to back World Cup qualifiers against Congo Brazzaville and Niger.
He is expected to be back in action in the MTN Super League when the nine time Champions host the record 13 time Champions Nkana.
