  1. Time for soccer politics is over, get down to work Andrew. A small axe has chopped down a big tree after a lot of efforts.

  2. Thanks Ba Great Kalu. Thats how a real man should be ACCEPT DEFEAT.To Kamanga the previous FAZ had left so many things to learn from eg poor travel arrangements for National teams.poor team selections etc, please We need to forget all that. Hit the ground running.

  3. At this point am more interested with what ba Charly cool is going to do about his son playing for zambia. . . Because his “apparent” enemy is no longer at football house.

  4. You remain the greatest thing that has ever happened to mother Zambia and I hope you’ll still be actively involved in the development of the beautiful game in this country, we also look forward to see if Charles Musonda ‘ll have a change of his heart about his children playing for this country since you’re now no longer part of the football house .

    • “greatest thing that has ever happened to mother Zambia”…..mmmmmmm!!!! I think that is a bit of an over statement I hope you meant football wise only.

  5. You were a great footballer, one that put Zambian football on the map and we will always treasure your input to Zambian football in that regard….but on the flip side you were a lousy FA President.

Much respect to you for conceding defeat and hopefully you will still hold Zambian football at heart and will heed to any calls the new executive will need when the need to use your name to advance Zambian soccer.

  6. U made yo name n no one shall eraze it. yo success both as player n adm is there to see. the first Afcon was n is still honoured to yo adm. Great kalu remain a true son of Africa n a AMBIAN for that matter. contribute in any other way u cld.

  7. Dj show off has raised a good point. By the way Charles musonda’s son has been snubbed by the national team coach for a friendly against Portugal. We have all told him that’s it’s too competitive for him to hold down a first team slot in belgium. Let’s see what he says now.

  8. Big up to Great Kalu, you did your part when you took over from Teddy Mulonga and atleast brought us the Afcon Cup with a Coach so many people never believed in. Your administrative style was alien to most of the Zambian and this led to rumours of corruption, arrogance etc on which platform Kamanga used to clean up. Lessons should be learnt and if Kamanga has cheated his way onto that seat, very soon people will judge him the way you’ve been judged.

  9. The issue of Charles musonda is really simple it’s about money. We need to just give him a house on zambia and some money for his son. Simple!

  10. Congrats to Kamanga. Thanks to Kalu on some good stuff he had done while he was president. We hated the corruption and shamba travel arrangement amoung other things, but its time to move forward. Kamanga should know he is now working for the Zambian people, FAZ does not belong to him, he is a public servant and as such should act like one. We are watching, we want results, we want you to be transparent and accountable. We want the best for our football team and the players. We are watching you don’t think you are untouchable.

  11. Amazing how much difference one individual could make . As a footballer, as coach as administrator Great kalu was great. during my stay in Europe in the 90s, I was amazed at how much respect people out there had for Kalu. You have ran your race very well Great Kalu, Kalus love for his country was unquestionable.
Welcome Andrew Kamanga, your win is Zambias win. A lot is expected from you. We have already won the AFCON once, the COSAFA several times, qualified to world cup at age limited competitions. Please take us to the Worldcup! Congratulations once again

  12. Still our own,Kalu great men move on and thats what you have done. You were a great player to watch, meaning football wise zambia is on world map because your contributions. We love you as our true son of africa.Move on and contribute even more football wise on diffent stage this time. You are known world wide ,im sure you will still find your feet to bring advancement of football to zambia at a nother level. With Charles sons its only the family who could guide the them to play for zambia.

  13. It’s all about results; this new Executive has to deliver an Africa Cup or World Cup qualification to be judged as successful.
