Former Zambia international Evans Kangwa brings the curtain down on a distinguished career, while Ghanaian striker Moro Amenu departs following the expiry of his contract.
Green Eagles Football Club have announced a major squad overhaul ahead of the new MTN Super League season, confirming the departure of 10 players, including former Zambia international Evans Kalulu Kangwa, who has retired from professional football.
The Choma-based side revealed that six players have left following the expiry of their contracts, while four others have been sent out on loan as the club reshapes its squad for the upcoming campaign.
Green Eagles also confirmed the departure of Ghanaian forward Moro Amenu, whose two-year contract has come to an end. Amenu joined the club in August 2024 after previous spells with Forest Rangers, Lumwana Radiants and KYSA, and leaves having completed his contractual obligations with the Eagles.
Also departing following the conclusion of their contracts are Nigerian striker Chinedu Okafor, John Ocheing, Clifford Mukambi and Frank Baho.
Meanwhile, the club has sanctioned loan moves for Chipa Kamunema, Given Kambila, James Mulenga and Isaac Zulu as they seek regular first-team football elsewhere.
