Chipolopolo forward Fashion Sakala is set to sign a new three year contract at Saudi Pro League side Al Fahya, reports Gulf Leagues expert, Ahmed Ragab.
Ragab reports that Sakala has agreed to sign a new contract until June, 2029 with Saudi Pro League side Al Fayha SC.
The new contract is worth an astonishing US$4 million (roughly K71.6 million) per season.
Al-Fayha has received approval from the Saudi government’s Sustainability Project Committee to finalize the Zambian international’s contract renewal.
The Sustainability Project is the government regulatory body that oversees and controls high-value contract renewals and operational spending of Saudi Pro League clubs.
Sakala has established himself as the premier attacking force at Al-Fayha FC since joining from Scottish powerhouse Rangers in August 2023.
He became the club’s all-time top goalscorer in the Roshn Saudi League, On 11 January 2025, in a game vs Al-Ittihad when he scored his 24th league goal, surpassing Ronnie Fernandez and Danilo Asprilla.
Last season he made 18 goal contributions scoring 13 goals and assisting five times in 29 appearances. Overall he has 62 goal contributions (43 goals and 19 assists ) in all competitions for Al Fahya in three seasons.
