Fashion Sakala, Kabwe jet in ahead of AFCON Qualifiers

The Chipolopolo Boys have been boasted by the arrival of Scotland based forward Fashion Sakala and South African based defender Rodrick Kabwe, the ZamFoot Crew can reveal.

The duo arrived in Lusaka on Tuesday and are scheduled to join camp on Wednesday.

The duo’s arrival brings the number of foreign based players to five.

Lameck Banda, Frankie Musonda and goalkeeper Cyril Mwenya Chibwe are already in camp.

The likes of Klings Kangwa, Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu are expected to arrive on Wednesday from Europe.

South African based contingent led goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata are also expected to join on Wednesday.

Zambia is expected to leave for Ghana by the end of the week where they will set base.

On Match day 1, Zambia will be away to Ivory Coast on June 3, before hosting Comoros at National Heroes Stadium

  1. Will probably join in cosafa squad! The boy is yet to hit the ground running going by his perfomance. If he keeps up scoring, he could have a chance with afcon qualifiers slated for September

  2. Samu is doing well so far, He has Daka, Fashion and Kings to fight for a position upfront. I would take those guys over him currently.

    His chance will come.
