CAF U20 African Cup of Nations winner and top scorer Edward ‘Tiger’ Chilufya has landed in Scandanavia where is set to undergo trials on Swedish side Djurgardens.
The boy from Kasama will watch Djurgardens in action in the league over the weekend and start his trials next week on Monday.
He scored four goals during the Africa Cup of Nations tournament and went on to score in every game Zambia played at the Adidas Korea Four Nations Invitation tournament in Korea Republic.
His departure was delayed after a dispute ensued between his club Mpande Youth Academy and Lumwana Radiants who hijacked him against the will of his club.
The impasse was only resolved after the Football Association of Zambia FAZ intervened.

Just like I predicated, more to come from this lad watch this space
Did he go willingly and is he going to be happy there. Scandinavian weather can have a serious dampening effect on an individual who is not prepared for it.
I wish you the best as you contribute to brightening Zambian’s future.
These boys are ready for the big stage, there’s nothing like nurturing at 18 and above. It’s time to deliver. All they need now is mentoring. Michael Owen hit the big stage at 16.
