Chisamba Lungu headlines Nkwazi’s new signings

2012 AFCON winner Chisamba Lungu has joined Zambia Super League side High Flying Nkwazi after his second stint at Zanaco came to an end  last month

Lungu headlines 10 players who have joined the Zambia Police sponsored outfit. Nkwazi confirmed the development in a statement by the club’s Media and Public Relations Officer, Busenga Chashinsha.

Nkwazi have also secured the services of Chisenga Lukwembe and Aaron Banda from Red Arrows and NAPSA Stars respectively. 

“Nkwazi Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of ten new players as part of its resolve to strengthen the squad in the 2022/23 MTN Super League.

2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner Chisamba Lungu has joined High Flying Nkwazi from town rivals ZANACO, Chisenga Lukwembe has been captured from Red Arrows while Aaron Banda has joined the club on loan from NAPSA Stars, and so has Lusaka Dynamos (midfielder) Mathews Mashimikilo.”

Meanwhile Gift Nyirenda from Kabwe Youth (Goalkeeper) Geoffrey Lindunda Paramilitary (Goalkeeper) , Douglas Silavwe from Real Nakonde (midfielder )

Former Green Eagles striker Shadreck Mulungwe, Parliamentary goal poacher Mulonda Simunji, Kanyama Lions midfielder Patrick Mwila and George Sampa, a midfielder from Happy Hearts have all joined the club on permanent basis.

Dennis Makinka’s men started their season with a 1-0 loss at the hands of Power Dynamos and will face NAPSA Stars away at the Heroes Stadium on Saturday.
