2012 Africa Cup of Nations winner Chisamba Lungu has left Zambia Suer League side, Sensational Zanaco.
The midfielder took to social media to confirm his departure and thank the Bankers for every during his stay at Sunset Stadium.
“From you, my esteemed colleagues, I learned so much. From professional skills to personal growth, you have helped me in so many ways. It is with great respect for each of you and sadness at the thought of no longer working together that I must say farewell.
Many thanks and good wishes for all that is to come.And I thank you all Zanaco fans for the love and support you gave me while I was with you guys GOD bless you all.”
Lungu who returned to Sunset Stadium after 12 years penned a two-year deal with the Bankers in June 2020.
Lungu left Zanaco in 2008 to join Georgia’s FC Baia Zugdidi just after a single season and then went on to also play for Russian side Ural and Turkey’s Alanyaspor before returning home to join Buildcon in 2018.
