Chipolopolo Boys striker Kennedy Musonda has confirmed his departure from Tanzanian giants Young Africans ending a two and half year stint in East Africa, as earlier reported by the ZamFoot Crew.
Musonda took to social media to confirm his departure from Wananchi Vijana Stars in an emotional farewell message.
“Wananchi, what can I say? You have been the best to me , to my family and to my dream. Thank you for laughing with me, dreaming with me, winning with me , as well as crying with me . Someone said every good story must still end . Forever grateful. On to the next chapter.

Musonda joined Young Africans Sports Club (YANGA SC) in January 2023 from Power Dynamos.
Musondaās contract at Wananchi Vijana Stars expired at the end of last month. The former Power Dynamos striker has had an impressive stint in East Africa.
He helped Young Africans to a league title, Azam Federation Cup and runners up position in the CAF Confederations Cup in his first six months in 2023.
He also won the Zambian Super League with Power Dynamos having scored 11 goals for the Kitwe giants before his departure.
Musonda also won the League and Federation Cup in 2024 with YANGA SC. The 2025 League title is Musondaās third with the Tanzanian giants since his switch from Power Dynamos.
The 30 year old will not be short of suitors but itās not yet clear if he will return back home or continue his adventure outside the country.
Musonda has also played for Lusaka Dynamos, ZANACO and Green Eagles in the MTN Super League.
Musonda was also the Chipolopolo Boys top goalscorer in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with four goals as he stepped up in the absence of Patson Daka.
