The Zambia national team has left for Mozambique where they will engage that country in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The national team which has been in camp since Saturday flew out aboard an Africa Charter Airline at about 10:30hrs and is expected to be in Maputo this afternnon.
In what is a winner takes all encounter, Zambia will look to maintain their impeccable record over the Mamba’s who have never qualified for a major tournament ahead of Chipolopolo.
The game will be played at the Estadio Nacional de Zimpet in Maputo and kicks off at 16:00hrs on Saturday.

go get em boys. show it to sum ancient afcon winners that u wont be at the Africa cup to make up numbers like them

The best result for Zambia playing away from home is always a draw.
Yes you are right AFCON 2012 was played and won at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, good observation.
Finally my heart is at peace, pantu ngabaile pa Saturday pene akachelo.
Go and Conquer baiche besu, and go with God.
Wonderful now let the game begin. Nuff said from armchair soccer analysts sending analysis on blackberries. It’s now up to Janza. Good luck boys. 3 points awaits.
sate sate to start .
All the best to Chipolopolo. We hope the technical bench has done their homework.
Kwabena piso your team is in 6s and 7s…Go n put your house in order then come and comment here. Go get them boys!
How many players are in the squad?? How many hv bin droped or left out??
Bola na bola Baka amba,go show them coach jaza.
We can only wish them the very best of luck, and nothing else.Gudluck Mighty Chipolopolo and prove all critics wrong.
Some one said SS won’t televise this match, but I thought they mean’t Zpl games due to so many qualifying games around the globe. Could some one confirm please coz some of us have no faith in ZNBC (Zambians Now Broaden Corruption).
kaya !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With the headless chicken as a coach?
This game will be on SS9 but not live, the game starts at 16hrs, SS9 will show it later at 1800 hrs. My question is, will Moz park the bus? Zambia will not sit back and wait for Mambas. It will be very interesting to see the anticipated high tempo game.
Can’t wait for Saturday. We’re winning this encounter. Pliz Janza, use wing play and avoid high balls coz the mambas r tall n gud inthe air. Use sharp n pacey wingers (Bruce, Lubambo,Kalaba,Chisamba n Singuluma. Go getam guys. Go Zambia Goal!
I always see Estone Mulenga in Nyambe Mulenga.
we wait & see.
Good luck boyz
1 all draw would stil favour zambia as long as we finish off those cape vedians.head to head is the tie breaker.having drawn 0-0 a scoring away draw would be good so let us be carefull by deploying a 4-5-1.
The game will live on SS9 starting 16 hrs zambian time an zanaco vs power dynamos 15 hrs SSselect1 live from sunset stadium again sunday 15 hrs SSselect1 zesco vs nakambala live from mazabuka stadium. Go zambia go,zambia 2 mozambique 0 mark my prediction.
Ba zamfoot i have been a follower an a fun for this website for the past 3 years an u put me on moderation.Anyway u are doing a good job guys.
Ka bola pa zed.
I also believe that we need to use pace wingers who can break into the area quickly so that if anything they can even cause penalties like what Bruce did against Ivory Coast. Otherwise I have hope that we are winning the Mambas.
The match will be LIVE on Supersport Select. Broadcast commences at 15:45.
No speculations. SS shows delayed matches mostly earlier televised live by another SS channel.
Looks rainy out there , all the best guys !
the game will be live on ssp select
Mmmmmm naba Janza katwishi
Good luck boys. Qualifying for Afcon is our birthright. Make us proud.
#ForeverChipolopolo

Who are the players that has traveled to Mozambique…or maybe all the 27 who where called to camp has traveled…pliz anyone with the list
Remember guys…bola ni panshi……
I stand to be corrected on the penalty issue against Ivory Coast at Heroes , Was it not Sate Sate when he was brought down and that yet to ripe defender missed that penalty? The touched down yesterday and we have no news Zamfoot come on, you can do better, your facebook profile is not consistent and many of my friends have liked the page and messages are coming that the page I have made them like is not making any sense, because there are no updates. Whats up? My wife need a job employ her just online updates lol
Noble Eagle I know you are reacting to my text where I said its Bruce who was brought down. I think I stand to be corrected coz I saw as if it was Bruce and not Kampamba.
‘Its Not yet Over for Zambia & Mozambique’
Why is it said that Cape Verde has already qualified? Fellow bloggers I have failed to understand this; can someone help me understand the ordeal? This is how we stand as at now.
Cape Verde 9
Zambia 5
Mozambique 5
Niger 2
Suppose Zambia and Mozambique draws and Cape Verde is beaten by Niger, the table will be like this;
Cape Verde 9
Zambia 6
Mozambique 6
Niger 5
Now imagine the final results looking like this; Zambia beats Cape Verde heavily and then Mozambique beats Niger by some good goal margins. This is how the table will look like;
Cape Verde 9
Zambia 9
Mozambique 9
Niger 5
Fellow bloggers, is the assertion that Cape Verde has already qualified really genuine? All things being equal “Ceteris paribus”, don’t you think Zambia and Mozambique can equally qualify.
By Teddy Malama ( Bashi Malama)
Yes Carpe Verd has already qualified because even if they loose all their games they will still finish at 9 points and still qualify as best 3rd finisher. remember there are about 3 or 4 slots for the best 3rd finisher and if all the teams in this group finish with 9 points then they all qualify.
meant the 3 teams (ZAM, CV, MZ) finish with 9 points they all qualify but Zambia can even finish on tom depending on the goal difference.
Ba zamfoot are u telling that there are no other stories that we need to hear as fans from the time the team left for Mozambique?
I also didn’t understand how these over hyped international press are saying Cape Verde have already qualified. I think our group is still very open just as Bashi Malama has worked it out.
You can’t even keep Cape Verde on top, as that would depend on the goal difference.
I have also been wondering.in fact zambia can even top the group if we win our last two games
Bashi malama z rite. Football being wat it z, anything z possible. CV is not invisible. We lost to them bcoz of Janza’s inability to effect substitutions. Sunzu limped in early minutes of the game bt wz left to play the entire match. It wz Sunzu’s mistake that made us concede the second goal. I am not taking anything away frm Sunzu, bt if sum1 z injured no matter hw gud they r, they shud b substituted.
@ Bashi malama, You are right, infact Mozambique has even a better goal aggregate over Cape verde since they lost 1-0 and won 2-0.
Yes indeed,let’s wait see bloggers.
someone pls go to the history books and tell us the last time zambia truely won a match away from home. The three board room points against sudan doesn’t count since zambia didn’t do anything to earn those freebies.
zambia isn’t going to win…….sorry and forget it if you think otherwise.
