  1. Arrived and ready for another bashing! Our team has been bashed several times since 2012 and I personally wrote them off even before they left the country. If we required to field two teams in order to play out a goalless draw with Sundown reserves, who, I am sure fielded less than two teams, then this speaks volumes for our team which has lately gotten accustomed to being bashed by any team that is interested in winning.

  2. Who are our left backs? The presence of Katongo and Chansa ‘ll make a difference this time around, I’m praying that all the players ‘ll stay free from injuries for the entire tournament .

  3. Katongo and Chansa can steady the ship. Something which has been gravely lacking in recent times with Zambias chop and changing panic attacks. After all that has happened this is the best we can hope for..

The team has prepared somewhat but of course nowhere near what HR did for the bronze medal winning team. The best thing for this team is to pride themselves on staying alert and live in the game – respond well to the situations happening around them on the field of play. Scoring will be difficult, it is unknown. Defense and midfield must keep good control possesion.

  4. The last 2 Chans we have failed to qualify so no doubt come what may, Faz will claim this as an achievement. For the the team they must make sure to make the most of being at the tournament because it has not easy to even qualify in recent years.

  5. OK OK OK OK. Only complaints. writing the team down. kalu corrupt ions. no goals. George pathetic coach. no better things to write about our supporters. with small hearts u can resign either as coach or as kalu.

    • Well don’t you think that if people are complaining then something is wrong with the way things are conducted there in Faz? Or you just think we love to b!tch about everything? Well enjoy watching the usual mediocre outing yet again.

  6. He plays patson who is ever on the bench at power and the stupid lad cost as two points we complain you say that we hate him, those under five both left and right backs are so pathetic to say the least we complain that their are better players like mbola and Kabaso you say we hate him and the issue of toaster who is always warming the bench at Zanaco the lad is always costing as games, from the Japan one to the recent Olympic championships we complain ati we hate him. Me I miss Kalu the player not Kalu the administrator.

  7. Iam so f@cking pissed right now, I didn’t win the f@cking lottery. I was dreaming of coming back to Zed after winning it big and fix all the issues there, but i am back to work again because I didn’t win this illusive scam lottery, how comes I never win sh!t? F@ck. Well, atleast I won my $4 back. Lol. Anyways good luck to Chipolopolo in the chan.

  8. MAYUKA SIGNS FOR EGYPTIAN GIANTS ZAMALEK???????????
Reports have reached Zambian Football that Chipolopolo striker Emmanuel Mayuka has signed for Egyptian giants Zamalek for an undisclosed fee.
Mayuka, with French Ligue 2 side Metz, is reported to have agreed the switch over the last few days.
The ZamFoot crew is now working on reaching Mayuka and Zamalek to confirm if the reports of him joining Zamalek are true or false.

  9. If Mayuka has indeed signed for the team in Egypt, may he follow the example of Mbesuma and get serious about scoring goals again. He is still young, and could do a lot to help the national team if he gets into excellent shape and begins to play and think like a champion again. Go Chipolopolo!

    • I think Duncandinho dont have much knowledge of black player ordeals in North Africa Unlesd you indispensably talented, you are bound for failure. In recent times, ita only Harisson Afful that has chalked consistency in Esperance almost all Ghanaian players there fail. Now even you cant hear of any notable African like Flavio or Gilbertio Silva in the north, blacks are having a tough time out there. All I can say is formless Mayuka would sign a club in Zambia very soon.

  10. Gents Anyone who knows sports will acknowledge that without active participertion a sports person will take a while to be in sharp. Mayuka is not a flop. Its very unfortunate fellow countrymen have writen him off at this time.
Some posts here are not near any motivation . We have very few motivators in Zambia and we have to work on that

  11. One step forward two steps back…..that’s Mayuka’s career these days. Big steps going forward by shinning in Israel and Switzerland then huge steps going backwards by flopping in England and France and now if the rumours are true another huge step backwards by coming back to Africa from one of the best leagues in the world, the French league.
It seems the consistency of Jacob Mulenga and Chisamba Lungu have become a farfetched thing for Zambian players. I will hold the phone to see what Sate Sate does.
We were the star players in the PSL…not anymore. We were the core of African giants TP Mazembe….not anymore. Let me not go on but the current FAZ administration really needs to workshop the reason for the downfall in quality players.

  12. Mayuka had gained a bit more weight than expected of a footballer whilst at Southampton. Should have have noted those tell tell signs for failure. Anyway, time is still on his side vene though other players that have enjoyed stability peak at around 25.

  13. Irregardless of CHAN being a minor tourney, Let our boys play their hearts out.National Pride is at stake here.Go Chipolopolo boys!

  14. PATHETIC and Meaningless tournament. What is Erick Mwanza doing in Rwanda????? This is what i always talk about on this blog. I am always insulted and called names for calling a spade a spade!

  15. To all those that think this is a good move, why do you think Kalaba refused to sign for Zamleck after his outing in Portugal? Mayuka could have been very well better off going to ituri forest or just come back to Zambia. What a dump sh!t.
