The race to sign Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka seems to have taken another twist with a new English Premier League side joining the race.
Vincent Kompany’s Burnley are the latest team to be linked with an interest in the Leicester City forward ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.
The Zambian international has found game time hard to come by so far this season.
The Kafue Celtic product was included on the bench for the first two games of the campaign against Coventry City and Burton Albion, but has since been left out of the squad for the next three fixtures.
Enzo Maresca seems not to have Daka in his plans as he looks to trim his squad as part of his rebuild at the King Power Stadium.
Bournemouth have been heavily linked with an interest in the striker, but that move seems to have gone quiet.
Burnley are the latest club showing an interest, according to talkSPORT. The report says that the Clarets have added Daka to their “shortlist” of targets, as they try to do a deal with AC Milan for former Liverpool striker Divock Origi.
The striker scored 68 times in 125 appearances for RB Salzburg in all competitions.
Daka on the other hand has been amazing for Chipolopolo scoring 9 goals in his last 9 AFCON qualifying games.

Everyday we hear stories of joining the race, yet nothing is materalizing. Patson has to force a trade because it seems Leicester is content to keep in on the bench for whatever reason.

True , Patson must take matters into his own hands or he’s kiss goodbye to his form and become nothing
