Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he is aware of Chipolopolo Boys forward Patson Daka who has been in sensational form in the last four games.
Daka has scored five goals and set up one in his last five appearances (which includes four against Spartak Moscow in the UEFA Europa League) in all Competitions catching the eye of many around the world.
“Yes, we’ve been aware of him. I think Leicester have been really strong and clever in their recruitment over the years – that they have been able to build the team that they have. He looks a really strong player,” Arteta said in his pre-match press conference.
“Both teams for sure are going to play to win the game. We both know that it’s going to be a tough game. We have some experience against them as well and we’ll just prepare for the game in the best possible way.”
The Foxes host the Gunners this afternoon at the King Power Stadium in an early kick-off, 13:30 CAT
Daka opened his Premier League goal account against Manchester United two weeks ago before following it up with a spectacular performance against Spartak Moscow in the UEFA Europa League which saw him score four goals including a record-breaking nine-minute hat-trick.
Daka then followed it up with an unselfish gesture, setting up James Madison for the winner in the game against Brentford and a great full shift and a penalty converted during shootouts in the Carabao Cup round of 16 tie against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Daka made his move to the English Premier League side, Leicester City from Redbull Salzburg in June after penning a five-year deal with the Foxes.
Daka scored 68 goals and registered 27 assists in 125 games for Austrian giants, Redbull Salzburg winning four league titles, three Austrian cup titles, and one UEFA Youth League title.
He was very prolific for Salzburg, scoring 34 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions last season, including 27 in 28 league games to help Salzburg to the Austrian title.

Daka may God bless you
