And Swedish based duo Emmanuel Banda and Edward Chilufya have linked up with the team, and were part of the Friday’s training session.

Part of the session were also British based duo Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka.

Russian based and the only AFCON winner in the squad Evans Kangwa was also seen in training. Kangwa is rated 50/50 to feature on Sunday against Equatorial Guinea.

With Prince Mumba, Banda is expected to walk into the team and start in the engine room.

For Chilufya, despite enjoying his best form for Djurgardens, the Kasama native will have to be content with a place on the bench on Sunday.

The CAF 2012 African Cup of Nations need to win all the remaining three matches and hope for Group B leaders Tunisia to drop points .

Zambia is third in Group B on 3 points while Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea are 9 and 6 points respectively.

Pressure is piling up at the Andrew Kamanga led executive as the Chipolopolo Boys continue to struggle.

In addition to poor start in the World Cup qualifiers, Zambia has failed to qualify to the last three editions of the African Cup of Nations.

  1. This is not a full strength chipolopolo. Full strength chipolopolo has experienced winners from 2012 who are Sunzu, Sinkala and Mweene. Experience is very important. All the big teams Ivory coast, Tunisia etc haven’t dropped their experienced players and they’re doing well because of that so why the hell have we? Just because we lost 5-0 to Algeria and to Zimbabwe you want to drop all of them. No we need experience and leadership on the bench and in the dressing room.

  2. Zambia would have still lost the match if the Ref was Neutral. Poor team selection and disoganisation from FAZ. Can’t do something simple as organise a Visa for players.

This FAZ Executive for me has ran it’s race. TIME FOR CHANGE!! The mess we are in is we lost at home to Tunisia. We have conceded 5 goals in 3 games. Yet the Coach can’t bring in S.Sunzu, K.Chongo and Franklin Musonda in Scotland who are better players. P.Mumba is a talented young man but he is not fully ready for National team. Forget the goal he scored in the Mauritania game We have better players in Europe than him. He is supposed to be learning and playing from the bench. I feel sorry for him. He must be feeling bad that he let the Nation down, the Coach didn’t protect the young man. Body Musonda starting 2 games when he can’t even make the 1st Eleven at his local club in Zambia.

E.Banda. S.Sunzu, S.Mayembe, F.Musaoda, N.Sinkala, K.Kalunga (Portugal), N.Mayembe (Cardiff City), G.Lungu Super Sport… so many players. You build the team around Patson, Fashion and Mwepu with a good supporting cast. Chambeshi won’t bring in these players.
I here some people in FAZ have said Sunzu, Sinkala, Kalaba are Kalusha’s boys so they can’t be called. You need experience to have a formidable team. Not young boys who are not experienced. It was SHOCKING to see Chambeshi start a COSAFA/CHAN line up against Tunisia. WHY!!

Get Chambeshi OUT of the Team. He won’t speak against FAZ. An Expatriate Coach won’t keep quiet when he sees wrong. Chambshi is Clueless can’t read the game. What a waste.
