Newly promoted MTN Super League side Mines United are close to completing the acquisition of four experienced players led by former ZESCO United striker Akakulubwelwa Mwachiaba.
Mwachiaba, Ugandan midfielder Hashim Sempala who both featured for Kabwe Warriors have been training with Mines United.
The duo also featured for Mines United yesterday as they played to a 3-3 draw with Zambian CAF Confederation Cup envoys, ZESCO United.
Striker Isaac Ngoma who recently parted ways with Prison Leopards is another player who is training with the newcomers. Ngoma left the Collect Boys on a mutual separation.
Former Nkana first choice goalkeeper Kelvin Malunga is also among the players that are training with Mines United as they look to seal the deals and add experience to the side.
Mines will be coached by Christopher “Gazza” Tembo in their debut season in the MTN Super League.
