Midfielder Clatous Chama is close to completing his return to ZESCO United nearly nine years after leaving the club.
Chama who is a free agent after his contract with Tanzanian Champions Young Africans (YANGA SC) came to an end, has been training with ZESCO United and featured for Team Ya Ziko on Saturday
The Confédérations Cup envoys faced newly promoted Mines United in a pre-season friendly which ended in a 3-3 draw.
Defender Zachariah Chilongoshi who left NAPSA Stars recently also featured for ZESCO United. Veteran striker Alex Ng’onga was also in action for Zesco United.
Zega Mambo earlier this month acquired Nigerian duo Alaekwe Chijioke and Ifoni Pepo. The two West Africans signed 2 year deals.
ZESCO also acquired Chipolopolo Boys defender Kabaso Chongo and midfielder Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba after a stint in Libya.
