Mugalu bites more than he can chew as trouble looms

Lusaka Dynamos striker Chris Mugalu may have bitten more than he can chew after signing multiple Intermediary (Agent) contracts.

The ZamFoot crew understands that the 2017 Golden boot winner has three running contracts with three different intermediaries and one of them is planning to take him to the World football governing body FIFA.

“There is confusion on Mugalu’s future, Baroka gave one of his agents R100,000 for him to sign 2 year contract with Baroka. They then gave him money to travel to Lubumbashi and fly direct from Lubumbashi to South Africa,” the source said.

“Apparently Mugalu has 3 active contracts with 3 different agents but one of them has threatened to take the matter to FIFA meaning mugalu might be in trouble,” The source added.

Another ZamFoot source narrated how Mugalu ended up at Lusaka dynamos after initially being prepared for a PSL move.

“Mugalu first came to Zambia in November 2016 when no one knew him. We brought him here and kept him in a lodge for 3 months while we were working on his work permit and VISA to South Africa then Lusaka dynamos stole him from our camp,” the source said.

Mugalu was recently reported to have terminated his contract with Lusaka dynamos but Hanif Adams, Owner of the Club denied knowledge of the matter saying the Congolese striker was still a Lusaka dynamos player.

Local clubs were also quoted to be interested in the services of the Congolese talisman among them Zanaco and Champions Zesco United.
