Below is fact file of arguably one of Zambia’s best defender.

Medals: Won bronze, Silver – AFCON 1994, 1996, Cosafa 1998
👉 Voted in the 1994 Team of the Tournament alongside his defensive partner Harrison ‘Wawa’ Chongo
👉 Litana is the only Zambian player to have scored in AFCON – quarters finals, semi final and final.
At the 1994 edition he scored in the 4-0 thrashing of Mali in the semi final.
The towering defender went on to score the opening goal in the 2-1 defeat to Nigeria in the final. Emmanuel Amunike scored both goals for the Super Eagles.
👉 Two years later on, Litana scored a header against Egypt.
Zambia went on to win the quarter final tie 3-1 with Vincent Mutale and Dennis Mutale scoring the other goals.
👉 There are only two Zambian players to have ever been named in the CAF AFCON Team of the Tournament twice.

👉 Litana was supposed to sign for Olympique Marseille in 1994 with Andrew Tembo but opted for Saudi Arabia were he spent close to 5 years at Al Hilal.
👉 Was named Zambia’s captain at the 1998 AFCON by Burkard Ziese
