Copper Queens defender Lushomo Mweemba has been unveiled as a new BIIK Kazygurt player.
The club took to Instagram to reveal the arrival of the Zambia Women’s National Team defensive queenpin.

She recently signed a one-and-a-half-year deal with 16-time Kazakhstani Champions after completing her move from Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club.
She has teamed up with countrymates defender Martha Tembo and midfielder Ireen Lungu.
She is part of the BIIK squad that is preparing for the Kazakhstani Women’s Cup which kicks off on 1 May, 2024.
BIIK’s first match will be against Okzhetpes before entertaining Aktobe two days later.
They will then play nemesis and former Catherine Musonda’s team Tomiris-Turan on 5 May before playing their final fixture against Ordabasy on 9 May.
BIIK has proved to be a pathway for many Copper Queens players with the likes of Racheal Kundananji, Grace Chanda, Prisca Chilufya and Hellen Chanda all having featured for the 11-time Kazakhstani Cup champions.
