ZESCO United will be without seven players when they welcome Zanaco in the last game of the season at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium in Ndola tomorrow.
The 9-time Super League Champions will be without skipper John Ching’andu, veteran forward Winston Kalengo, midfielder Collins Sikombe and defender Solomon Sakala who have been ruled out.
Head coach Numba Mumamba also disclosed that injuries will also kept out Peter Manyang, Simon Silwimba and Dickson Chapa.
“This is an important fixture to us which we want to win at all cost. However, we are facing a series of injuries with the likes of Chingandu, Winston Kalengo, Collins Sikombe and Solomon Sakala ruled out. We will also miss the services of Simon Silwimba, Dickson Chapa and Peter Maker Manyang due to injuries,” Mumamba told the club’s official website.
Numba will now have to bank on youngsters like Chanda Mukuka, Kasoma Luwawa, Samason Mkandwire and Enock Sakala Jnr for tomorrow’s tie.
The Ndola based outfit have already sealed a second place finish on the log regardless of tomorrow’s result.
Numba’s men will however want yo finish the season which has been far from their best on a good note with a win at home.
