MTN Super League side ZESCO United have signed Nigerian goalkeeper Sochima Victor Ndukauba, the club has confirmed.
Ndukauba joins the Ndola based outfit from Jamus FC of South Sudan, where he won the SSPL league and cup in a remarkable half-season stint.
Ndukauba is seen as replacement for Toaster Nsabata who left the club after the expiration of his contract to join South Africa BETWAY Premiership side Sekhukhune United.
The former Rivers United goalkeeper has penned a two year deal with Team Ya Ziko.
“We’re thrilled to announce the signing of Nigerian international goalkeeper Sochima Victor Ndukauba, aka “Odogwu” or “SochiBig16”! With a proven track record of excellence, Sochi joins us from Jamus FC in South Sudan, where he won the SSPL league and cup in a remarkable half-season stint.”
Sochi’s impressive resume includes having the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) highest clean sheets (16) in the 2021/2022 season, NPFL Team of the Season and Goalkeeper of the Year nominations, and 4 senior national team appearances for Nigeria, including 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea and Sierra Leone.

Ndukauba’s arrival comes at the right time as the nine time MTN Super League Champions continue to prepare for the start of the 2025/2026 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Zega Mambo will face Gabonese side FC 105 in the preliminary stage of the 2025/2026 CAF Confederations Cup.
