Chipolopolo goalkeeper Toaster Nsbata has rejoined BETWAY Premiership side Sekhukhune United two years after leaving the club, according to reports in South Africa.
Sekhukhune parted ways with Sangare, an AFCON-winning goalkeeper from Ivory Coast, at the conclusion of last season.
Sangare struggled for playing time in the second half of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season. Initially a first-choice goalkeeper early in the season under head coach Lehlohonolo Seema, he fell out of favour after Seema’s departure.
The experienced goalie left Sekhukhune United in July 2023 to join ZESCO United on a free transfer after two successful seasons with the Limpopo-based club.
During his time at Babina Noko, Nsabata made 36 appearances, kept 14 clean sheets, and conceded 29 goals and was nominated for PSL goalkeeper of the season in his first season.
Nsabata reportedly penned a two-year contract as a free agent, as his current deal with ZESCO United expires at the end of the month.
The 31-year-old will be hoping to keep his spot in the Zambia National Team ahead of the upcoming AFCON in Morocco later this year.
