Manchi Janza is set to become the next head coach of National League side Trident FC, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.
Manchi Janza and the North Western Province outfit have reached an agreement the ZamFoot Crew understands with an announcement likely to be made soon.
Janza will replace George Chilufya who recently left the club to join Kabwe Warriors earlier this month.
Janza will be expected to lead the Conquerors in their push for Super League promotion after missing out on the last day in the 2024/2025 season.
The 44 year old spent 9 years at Lusaka Dynamos as an understudy to coaches like Perry Mutapa, Patrick Phiri, Dan Kabwe , Ian Bakala, Wedson Nyirenda, and Chris Kaunda,
He was also promoted to the role of head coach in 2022 leading Lusaka Dynamos in the 2022/2023 season in the National League.
Recently he was assistant coach at Forest Rangers under Mwenya Chipepo, a club he joined in 2023.
The CAF A diploma holder was part of the Lusaka Dynamos technical bench that won the 2021 ABSA Cup.
