ZESCO United hijack ZANACO’s pursuit of Patrick Chooma

ZESCO United are now close to signing goalkeeper Patrick Chooma from Leopards FC in a huge transfer twist of this window, reports Zambian football transfer expert Wami Katanga.

The Ndola based outfit have hijacked ZANACO FC’s deal to sign Chooma at last minute after the player even had medicals with the club in Lusaka before the Ndola giants acted swift.

Chooma had successful medicals with Zanaco last Thursday awaiting contract signing but had to leave Lusaka and has since arrived in Ndola to conclude deal with ZESCO United.

Meanwhile, Zesco deal to sign Mangani Banda HAS ALSO COLLAPSED in the last few days despite agreeing personal terms to join the club.
