LAMECK BANDA Leaves for Italy After Lecce Warning

Italy-based Chipolopolo striker LAMECK BANDA has finally returned to Italy after his club, Lecce, threatened disciplinary action over his delayed return.

BANDA, accompanied by his newly-wedded wife, boarded an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport –KKIA- on Wednesday afternoon.

The forward declined to comment when approached by journalists in the departure lounge.

Earlier, Lecce announced through its official channels that BANDA had failed to report for pre-season training despite being instructed to do so. 

The Serie A club warned that he could face disciplinary action over his absence.
