Zesco United have been handed a fixture against opposition from South Sudan in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League according to the draws conducted on Friday evening in Senegal.
The Zambian Champions will play the first leg at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola and travel to Africa’s newest country for the return leg.
Zanaco who are representing the country in the CAF Confederations Cup on the other hand are on bye for the preliminary round and will face the winners between Harare City of Zimbabwe and AS Adema of Madagascar.
Zesco will be in action on the weekend of 14th – 16th February for the first leg while the return leg will be played on 26th – 28th February, 2016.
