Chipolopolo coach George Lwandamina has named the CHAN squad and recalled teen striker Patson Daka, George Chilufya and Adrian Chama to the national team.
According to the team list released by FAZ, Lwandamina has named 10 players from the U23 team that was booted out of the on-going CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations.
Other notable inclusions in the team include Green Eagles striker Adamson Mulao who ended the 2015 league season fifth on the top scorers chart with nine goals.
Zanaco U20 midfielder Charles Zulu who was dropped from the U23 squad that traveled to Senegal bounces back while John Chingandu who had taken his position has no place in the squad.
The squad regroups in Lusaka on Monday.
Zambia is in Group D alongside Mali, Uganda and Zimbabwe.

The Lumwana radiants boy Gozon Mutale is a quality player. We need height in our team. He was dropped from the U23. Only God knows why. We ended up meeting Tunisia and Senegal who had height advantage and strength.
Can someone tell me what Fuckson Kapumbu has done to continually be snubed by coaches and yet he is one of the most consistent and experienced left back… Secondly, as a power supporter, I love our striker Patson Daka but his current form has since relegated him to the bench. What criteria are the coaches using to pick players like Patson Daka and leave out players like Moses Phiri and Luka Lungu?

Kalusha is to blame for our early exit in all tonarments u17,u20,u23 and now chan. Chan team selection is not good.let faz technical team sit and choose good players together with the coach. We need good players and good preparations including friendlies starting now December 12. Try the partnership of kalengo and Adamson mulawo in friendlies. If it fails try another combination before we go to the tournament. Play atleast 3 international friendlies e.g Congo Dr, South Africa and any north African team.
