Zambian Champions Red Arrows are set to sign highly rated Congolese defender Ruddy Kupa Makwekwe, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
The 27 year old is expected to join from Kinshasa top side AS Vita.
Makwekwe is a direct replacement for compatriot Tresor ‘The Businessman’ Tshibwabwa who has joined South African side Sekhukhune United.
Makwekwe comes in with CAF Champions League experience and also being capped by Congo.
Arrows will be hoping Makwekwe will help them defend title as well as reach the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Arrows had 8 players in Zambia’s Cosafa Cup winning side on Sunday.
