The Zambia national women’s team progressed to the second round of the 2016 Africa Women Championship when they pulled off a 2 – 2 draw away against Namibia to qulaify on a 5 – 3 aggregate scoreline.
Grace Chanda who was also on target for Zambia in the first leg was the hero of the day when she scored a brace for the Albert Kachinga coached side.
Kachinga made one change to the starting line-up bringing in Hellen Mubanga for Misozi Zulu on the wide area.
Zambia will now wait for the result between Zimbabwe and Tanzania to know the next opponents.
