The elective FAZ AGM is on today at Kitwe’s Moba Hotel with FAZ Councillors set to vote in for a new executive.
Incumbent FAZ President Kalusha Bwalya is going for a third term is up against Lusaka business Andrew Kamanga and former FAZ executive committee member Henschel Chitembeye.
The voters registered has been agreed and there about 360 clubs.

Billy, we are agreed, but I fear that change for the sake of change will be hard to standby. Kamanga is not a man I would trust with football only because he tried to get into Football house via the backdoor and almost created a parallel FAZ simply for the sake of being President. The man almost got us banned by FIFA.
I think Chitembeye sounds like a true man of principle who is very deserving of a chance.

Apart of me would like to see Kalusha stay but with a whole new exco with people who will question him and stand up to him. I think Kalu lost track when he surrounded himself with yes men. Another part says 12 years is a long time for one man to be in this position so new blood may not be a bad thing. I just don’t know of Kamanga is the right person for this job

The trio are from the Kalusha Bwalya Camp.
