WSL; Nchanga thrash Chipata Girls, Buffaloes tumble at Indeni, ZESCO edge Konkola as Eagles and Kamfinsa share spoils 

Nchanga Rangers Queens were in fine form on Saturday afternoon as they thrashed Chipata Girls, Green Buffaloes suffered just their second defeat of the season while Thandiwe Ndhlovu scored a brace to give ZESCO Ndola Girls a comfortable 2-0 win over Konkola Blades Queens.

At Nchanga Stadium, Nchanga Rangers Queens have returned to winning ways with a fantastic 4-1 win over Chipata Girls. 

The Chingola based outfit came from a goal down to beat Chipata. Hildah Zulu put Chipata in the lead just six minutes into the match.  Gracious Tailoshi leveled matters in the 16th minute while Sarrive Lobo put Rangers in the lead at the death of the first half. 

The Congolese midfielder doubled the lead six minutes into the second stanza before Victoria Ng’uni could seal the win. The win takes the Charity Nthala coached side to 32 points as they lock down seventh place. 

At Indeni Sports Complex, Indeni Roses came from a goal down to beat Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club 2-1. 

Memory Nthala put Buffaloes in the lead before Ngosa Chabwe could level matters and seal the winner with a goal in either half. 

At Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, Thandiwe Ndhlovu scored a brace as ZESCO Ndola Girls saw off a tricky Konkola Blades Queens side. 

At NASDEC, Green Eagles Women and Kamfinsa Police Blue Eagles played out to a goalless draw.
