WSL: Buffaloes lead reduced to six points, ZISD hold Elite as Nkwazi and Arrows record wins

Green Buffaloes lead at the summit has been reduced to six points while Red Arrows and Nkwazi have continued their winning runs. 


The FAZ Women’s Super Division continued on Sunday with action from Edwin Imboela Stadium, Arakan, Nkoloma and Solwezi. 

Log leaders Green Buffaloes recorded their fourth draw of the season as they were held to a goalless draw by Indeni Roses. 

At Edwin Imboela Stadium, Nkwazi Queens put on a show as they thrashed Trident Queens 4-1 thanks to brace by Dorothy Daka and a goal each from Bettina Banda and Ngosa Chabwe. 

Enelesi Phiri was the lightening rod for the Zambia Police sponsored outfit and tormented Trident Queens throughout the match. 

In Solwezi, Goals from Aliness Kasoma and Esnart Mukubwe have Red Arrows a comfortable 2-0 win over Police Dove Queens. 

At Woodlands Stadium, Evarine Susan Katongo led ZISD Women recorded another valuable point on their quest for survival as they held Elite Ladies to a 1-1 draw.
