Green Buffaloes Women Football Club has continued with an impressive 100% winning record in the 2020/21 FAZ Women’s Super League, This is after they silenced National Assembly 4-0 this afternoon at the Showgrounds to maintain their top spot on the log standings.
In form and red hot striker, Theresa Chewe produced a player of the match performance scoring 4 goals for the Zambia Army-sponsored side who have now won all the 3 games played.
Chewe opened the scores in the 35th minute converting from the penalty spot before she added her second 5 minutes later.
Chewe yet again found the target scoring in stoppage time before halftime to make it 3-0 with her hattrick in favor of Buffaloes going at the break.
After the break, immediately after the hour mark, Chewe completed her haul with a 4th goal in the 63rd minute to seal an excellent victory for Green Buffaloes over National Assembly.

Elsewhere at New Margaret Mwanakatwe Bauleni Stadium, BUSA Queens and Lusaka Dynamos Ladies FC settled for a goalless draw in a high-intensity match that did not witness any goal apart from the exciting quality of play from both sides as the final score was 0-0.
In the earlier games played this morning, in Kabwe at Jasmine Grounds, Queens Academy picked up their first points of the league with a comfortable 3-1 victory over struggling ZISD.
Lillian Mwaba has announced her presence in the league as she scored a hattrick for The Queens of Kabwe while ZISD found their consolation goal through Lydia.
Meanwhile, in Mufulira, YASA Queens’ Harriet Matipa came off the bench to rescue a point for the Stubborn girls canceling out the first-half goal scored by Beauty Kasonde for Mufulira Wanderers for the match to end in 1-1 as spoils were shared.
Match Week 3 action continues on Sunday, in Lusaka Nkwazi Queens will welcome Nkana Queens at Edwin Imboela Stadium in an early kick-off set for 10:00hrs.
Indeni Roses will lock horns with Red Arrows in arguably game of the weekend at Indeni Sports Complex at 15:00hrs whereas Zesco Ndola Girls have made a trip to the North-West to play against Solwezi Doves Queens who are in search of their first points at Solwezi Stadium.
