Wedson Nyirenda has been named as the Zambian Super League side Green Buffaloes’ new head coach, Zambianfootball.co.zm can reveal.
Last month, Nyirenda took to social media to refute a ZamFoot story linking him with the Buffaloes job, in a similar way the Zambia Army side said striker Felix Sunzu Jnr had not joined Power Dynamos but it was later revealed that the striker has registered by the Kitwe giants for CAF Confederations Cup.
One of the highly decorated coach on the local scene will start drilling the team this Wednesday and already Buffaloes players are bubbling with confidence and already targeting the league title.
Wada Wada as he is known, was last year sacked by a Mozambique side and was at some point linked with the Zanaco job were he won a league title a few years ago.
He is a good coach

though its tough to coach teams like gbfc, red arrows, nkwazi because of interference from senior officers. wada has to stand his ground or else this club can dent his image.
