With only five games in the MTN Super League, the battle for survival is intensifying and Atletico Lusaka are determined to stay in the top flight.
The ‘Bad Boys’ welcome Lumwana Radiants at Nkoloma Stadium this afternoon in a week 30 encounter.
Atletico Lusaka head coach Brian Kunsenama says his side are only eying maximum points against the North Western Province based outfit as they have no other choice.
The former Mufulira Wanderers player believes this is the game that will help them the most in their quest for survival should they beat Lumwana.
“Crucial game, it’s a game where both teams understand what situation they are in. Presume game yes, but I think it’s about turning the pressure into a positive. Look, we have no choice as Atletico Lusaka, All we need is to go for a win , there is nothing else that we are thinking of right now,” Kunsenama told the ZamFoot Crew.
“We just need to give it our best and get the three points. It’s a game that will probably give us a more comfortable position in the relegation fight than any other.”
Atletico Lusaka are 13th on the log table with 33 points while Lumwana Radiants are 15th with 31 points after 29 games.
Kick off at Nkoloma Stadium is set for 15h00.
