Ireen Lungu joins Copper Queens Camp….Turkey based duo expected later today.

Copper Queens midfielder Ireen Lungu is the latest addition to coach Nora Häuptle’s camp ahead of this weekend’s 2025 Yongchuan International Tournament opener against Thailand.

Lungu, who plays for Sichuan Women’s FC brings the number of players in camp to 18 with only six more players yet to report. 

The Turkey-based duo of Lushomo Mweemba and Martha Tembo are expected to join camp later this afternoon while the full 24-member squad is expected to be complete by Thursday. 

The Copper Queens will open their campaign on 5 April against Thailand, with a victory securing them a place in the final on 8 April, where they could face either hosts China PR or Uzbekistan.
