Jwaneng Galaxy coach Sean Connor has said his side drifted a bit in their 4-3 defeat to Zesco United on Saturday in Ndola in second round of the CAF Confederations Cup.
In a post match interview Connor is adamant that his said will do whatever it takes to overturn result in the second leg in Botswana.
“I’m not happy we conceded four goals. I think the penalty was a bit soft, I have to look at it again. We drifted a bit — 2-2, we wanted to ensure we don’t concede more goals.” said Connor.
The Botswana side allowed Zesco United to come from behind to go to the break with scores tied at 2-2.
After the break, Zesco United threw away a 4-2 lead and allowed Galaxy hope as they pulled one back.
The winner in Gaborone will advance to the lucrative group stage.
