Zesco United assistant coach Emmanuel Siwale has played down fears that his side have put their chances of reaching the group stage of CAF Confederations Cup in jeopardy.
Siwale’s came from a goal down to lead 4-2 but allowed Jwaneng Galaxy to score a late goal as they head into the second leg in Botswana this Saturday.
“Of course we wanted more than what we have done. But based on the result, it’s a win and it will help going forward,” said Siwale
“They managed to score three, we can also go and score three there,” he added.
“I’m confident because we managed to score four (goals) today. Of course we could have done better especially in terms of conceding.
Zesco United need to replicate their home form in Gaborone.
The Ndola side have scored a staggering nine goals in two continental home goals.
