Godfrey Ngwenya struck late for Kabwe Warriors to give the Mohammad Fathy coached side a famous 1 – 0 win over Green Buffaloes in a week 20 fixture played at Woodlands stadium in Lusaka.
In a game the home team were Widely expected to win, the goals were hard to come by and the lone goal of the match came in the 82nd minute when Ngwenya struck with his head.
The victory saw Warriors maintain 6th position as they moved to 32 points, one behind Buffaloes.
Veteran striker Francis Kombe struck with a spectacular volley to give Red Arrows maximum points against troubled Napsa Stars.
Kombe came off the bench to score from a Danny Sibanda assist as Arrows won 1 – 0 on the day.
