Nkana unleash Sate Sate and Bornwell Mwape

Nkana FC on Saturday unveiled a new striking duo which saw the return of Wusakile’s favorite son Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba alongside Born well Mwape.

Sate Sate moved from Nkana to Egyptian side Wadi Degla at the start of 2015 and was subsequently moved to the Belgian second division on loan.

Kampamba who featured at the 2015 Afcon and the CAF U23 Afcon last year is Nkana’s most prolific striker of recent times and he returns home on loan from the Egyptian club.

Mwape on the other hand starred for Nchanga Rangers before he trekked to South Africa were he player for Amazulu.

The two were named in the Nkana team that beat Mufulira Blackpool 2 – 0 and started on the bench.

Sate Sate was introduced in the 53rd minute for Simon Bwalya while Mwape came on in the 63rf minute.

However, it was Walter Bwaly who stole the show on the day when he scored a brace to join Jesse Were on top of the top scorers chart.

It will be interesting to see how Nkana coach Aggrey Chiyangi will line up his arsenal of strikers in the coming games with Congolese Soutra Tshimenga also making a claim for selection.

  1. Zanaco should have sign bornwell mwape he could have been a good addition because nkana have so many good strikers, because all those strikers can’t be in the starting line up at the same time may be nkana want to be another sundown of south Africa just my opinion

  2. These kids aren’t paying attention to the value of education. look at Kalushya…. he still managed to finish his Form 5 while playing top class football. In fact it was this education that probably assisted his decision making while playing football.
It gave him the confidence to add to his undoubted intelligence and skill on the playing field and also prolonged his career. Anyway that just my opinion.
